Feb 5, 2024 · Trail: Beautiful, manicured trail that descends through a beautiful rain forest to multiple wooden platforms on Cape Flattery with views of sea caves, sea stacks, islands, wildlife (mostly eagles and seals today, but whales in season), crashing waves and frothy seas. Short for sure - but stunning!

It has several look outs along the way. I saw whales in the distance but clearly. A native guide was there this day and offered a lot of stories and info. Worth the hike to get to the most northwestern point of the lower 48. Don't visit the Pacific Northwest without making your way to the most northwestern point in the lower 48. The hike out to the point is not overly difficult, but wear proper shows and take some water along. The views at the end will be worth the hike!
