Just received 2 ratgdo's (v 2.53i) and flashed them with the homekit firmware. Installation was a snap. Just hook the 3 wires into the GDO and plug in the USB cable. You can block the 819LMB from the internet at the firewall and the myq app stops working and the data stays local. Works great. I actually don’t mind the beeping warning for closing. I think its at least a good idea with my kids around and now I don’t have any other hardware other than that myq hub.
