The reason the ER turbines are better with ER reactors is because the Mekanism turbines need a stupid amount of steam that just isn't possible with the ER reactors. This is a fairly small turbine, but produces 5.85 MRF and uses 512000 mB/t of steam. The Mekanism turbines become much more op when you use Mekanism to fuel them.

My fusion reactor setup was only set to produce ~1M RF/t. This used two thermal evaporation plants at max size (18 blocks tall) with resistive heaters (no solar panels). Then I had 5 neutron activators, with a buffer of 6 ultimate gas tanks afterwards for the tritium.
